Deep brown and oxidised copper foil meet through gradual transitions that soften the distinction between texture and light. The textured metallic surface catches and reflects changing light, while the rich brown environment provides a quiet foundation from which the oxidised copper gently emerges.
Remaining intentionally non-representational, the work invites personal interpretation, allowing meaning to emerge through each viewer’s own experiences. As light changes throughout the day, new details emerge within the oxidised copper while others recede, making each encounter with the work unique.
